This weekend is last chance for locals to score Summit Pass, Colorado Pass at bargain prices

By Tom Boyd

September 4, 2008 —  One of the benefits of Eagle County residency is the many various forms of the “local’s special,” which includes deals on ski passes at Vail, Beaver Creek, and Summit County ski areas.

This weekend is the local’s “last chance sale” for Summit Passes and Colorado Passes, good for skiing at Eagle and Summit County resorts.

The Summit Pass gets you unlimited, unrestricted access to Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin for the 2008-2009 ski season.

The Colorado Pass gets you unlimited, unrestricted access to Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek (Vail and BC days are restricted from use Nov. 28-29, Dec. 27-31 and Feb. 14-15).

The bargain-basement deals on the Colorado Pass and Summit Pass are available ONLY at the Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone ticket offices (see below for locations).

Also don’t forget about the Epic Pass, which offers unlimited and unrestricted access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly and Arapahoe Basin for $579 and is available through Nov. 15. If you’ve paid your $49 down payment on your Epic Pass already, then be ready for the remainder of your fee to be charged mid-September.
