ECD had our “Grand Opening” of our campaign office on Sept. 10. A great turn-out, with lots of good food and good conversation. Eagle County Commissioner candidates Peter Runyon & John Stavney were there answering questions and more importantly, listening to people’s concerns. This is the time to get involved, folks! Plenty of opportunities to meet local candidates. Visit the Eagle County Dems website, eagledems.org, and check out the calendar for “Meet & Greets” and other events happenings from now until the elections.
The first Thursday of every month join us at E-Town for the Democrat luncheon, where local candidates are frequent guests. And the 4th Wednesday of every month it’s “Drinking Liberally” at Loaded Joe’s in Avon at 5:30, a great time to meet like-minded people and have stimulating conversation and libations. And fun!
A not so gentle reminder-October 6th is the last day to register to vote in the November 4th election. Are you registered at your current address? If not-do it now! You don’t want to get left out of this one!
