May 8, 2009 — After the success of the winter season’s Vail All the Love promotion, the Vail Local Marketing District Advisory Council (VLMDAC) and the Town of Vail Friday announced the Vail All The Love program will be extended as the primary promotional campaign for the summer.
The Vail All the Love campaign is a Town of Vail effort aimed at making it easier for Front Range guests to visit and enjoy Vail during the summertime. The investment behind this program makes Vail All the Love the most ambitious community-wide summer marketing effort ever in Colorado.
The Town of Vail is sponsoring a community-wide kickoff on Wednesday, May 13, at the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa. The kickoff starts at 8 a.m. and will conclude by 10 a.m.
During the kickoff, local business owners will learn how to utilize Vail All the Love to help drive business during the summer. Local media outlets will be in attendance, offering special advertising rates and opportunities for the summer in conjunction with Vail All the Love.
Additionally, attendees will receive two free tickets to ride the gondola during the summer and a chance to win other prizes.
The summer Vail All the Love promotion will launch the week of May 18, with all offers included on the Web site www.vailallthelove.com for Front Range guests to access.
Vail All the Love material and cards will be mailed to more than 100,000 Front Range past and current guests. Additionally, the promotion will be featured in Front Range newspaper, radio and magazine ads, along with billboards throughout the summer to target potential visitors.
Vail All The Love will provide significant savings on lodging from over 50 lodging properties, as well as savings on Vail mountain dining venues and Adventure Ridge activities.
Participating restaurants, bars, shops, spas, activities, events and services throughout the Town of Vail are also providing exclusive offers to consumers carrying the Vail All the Love card, making it easier than ever to enjoy Vail this summer. Customers will find all of these offers listed on www.vailallthelove.com.
"We were pleased to see the response to our winter Vail All The Love promotion. The Vail community has worked hard to understand the needs of the Front Range audience, particularly given the current challenges of the economy," said Kelli McDonald, Town of Vail Economic Development Manager.
"By continuing the Vail All the Love promotion, we are encouraging our Front Range guests to take advantage of our world class facilities in the wonderful summer months."
By searching www.vailallthelove.com, guests can view the participating lodges, merchants and other contributors who are providing regularly updated offers, making visits to Vail more rewarding.
For example, The Lodge at Vail, a RockResort, is offering a special rate of $99 on www.vailallthelove.com. Deals are constantly being posted to the Web site, so guests are encouraged to check it often for the most up-to-date offers.
Guests who do not receive the Vail All the Love card in the mail can pick up a card at their lodging property upon arrival or at the Vail Information Centers, located on top of the LionsHead and Vail Village parking structures.
